About Me

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Biostatistics at the University of Florida (Aug 2022 - Dec 2026). My research focuses on statistical methodology and deep learning for genetics, with an emphasis on developing robust, interpretable approaches for high-dimensional sequencing and multi-omics data. I am also a Doctorate Research Assistant at the Sepsis and Critical Illness Research Center at the University of Florida, where I build reproducible bioinformatics pipelines and analytical workflows to support translational research in critical illness.

Professional Experience

06/2026-08/2026
Oncology Translational Bioinformatics Intern, Bristol Myers Squibb (IPS, Translational Oncology), Cambridge, MA. I applied deep learning to clinical trial data for AI-powered multi-modal biomarker discovery in oncology treatment response, and integrated peripheral biomarkers and clinical variables into interpretable predictive models to support translational decisions.
08/2022-present
Doctorate Research Assistant, Sepsis and Critical Illness Research Center, University of Florida, Gainesville, FL. I develop reproducible bioinformatics pipelines and statistical workflows for scRNA-seq, RNA-seq, and multi-omics immune profiling in translational critical illness research.
06/2019-02/2020
Health Data Specialist, New Jersey Department of Health, Trenton, NJ. I analyzed real-world public health data using GLMs, risk prediction, geospatial visualization, and surveillance reporting for Hepatitis C, HIV, and COVID-19 response.
